I just wanted to thank our service men and women for taking the time to respond to John Kerry in the most perfect way…

Now for today’s dishonesty. If you don’t believe the media is liberally biased, please pay close attention. The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today and The Wall Street Journal–what do they have in common? None of them felt like it was necessary to report John Kerry’s “botched joke” as important news. None of the papers had this on their front page. Why would this be? It is simple really, if you are these newspapers, stories don’t make the front page unless they are bad for the Bush administration. If a story is good for Bush, it gets buried.

Some of you might say – there was something more important for the front page. In response to that I offer; was it less important than everything on pages 2-8 as the Wall Street Journal felt? Or 2-17 as the NY Times felt? That’s right. Page 18 of the NY Times.

On top of that bias, The CMPA has now released its study of network news coverage for the midterm election. The study indicates that on ABC, CBS and NBC, three out of four evaluations of Democrat candidates in the midterm election have been positive, while only one out of eight stories about Republicans have been positive.

And if that isn’t enough proof, the Media Research Center surely has enough to push you over the edge:

Liberal Bias…

The fact that the media is liberally biased is proven on a daily basis. If you ignore it, you are doing yourself a disservice.

Reverend Sharpton criticized the republicans, who he calls the “Christian right,” yesterday for talking about abortion and same-sex marriages too much in their political discussions.

Mr. Sharpton goes on to say that blacks should be talking about poverty, equal education, and other “social justices,” whatever that means. Basically, he thinks everyone should still be talking about racism. Well Mr. Sharpton, you can think whatever you’d like, but why do you need a comedian or some Hollywood drug addict with you every time you make a statement? Yesterday’s water boy was Dick Gregory, by the way.

Anyway, Sharpton goes on to condemn the new voter ID law in Indiana that requires people to present a valid form of identification before voting. This criticism is fundamentally dishonest and cloaked behind a smoke a mirrors argument that the law steps on individual freedoms. In reality, there is no right to vote in the United States; though there are specifications for how you can and can’t limit voting. Mr. Sharpton refers to the new law as a “poll tax, or other barriers to voting blacks have faced.” The last time I checked, this bill didn’t advocate collecting any money. The last time I checked, it was just as easy for blacks to get an ID as it is for whites–hell, illegal immigrants have them, social security number and all.

See, preventing people who are not citizens from voting harms the democrats because they rely on a heavy illegal alien vote, among other things such as people voting twice, dead people voting, and people voting in more than one state. Asking for identification before allowing someone to vote violates nothing.

I’d also like to share with you that Sharpton is wondering why black high school kids aren’t graduating. He starts off by blaming the economy (blaming a booming economy for poverty and black failures kinda takes away some of your credit doesn’t it?), but in all fairness he does a great job of actually pinpointing one of the real reasons; the “breakdown of family and morality.” Good job Mr. Sharpton; and you said it without adding a racial slur. Bonus points.

In reality however, before you begin to charge the families with the crime of black kids not graduating, try looking at the system all-together. White kids are graduating, but a lot of them can’t read. They can’t do math without a NASA grade calculator bigger than some of today’s personal computers, they have no life skills, they can’t balance a checkbook, and they’re getting dumber. This isn’t a black vs. white problem, this is a government education problem. The real reason for the failures is the fact that the government runs education. If Mr. Sharpton were an honest democrat he would actually advocate shrinking the governments duties of educating the public, support vouchers, and campaign for privatization. If schools saw kids as clients instead of brats they have to babysit, black kids and white kids would be graduating; and they’d actually be able to read their diploma. But government and shrinking can’t go in the same sentence when a democrat is speaking. To me, it is obvious that Mr. Sharpton doesn’t really want to solve the problem, he’d rather just bank off of it like he does on most issues.

And of course the dishonest ACLU has rushed to his side and challenged the law. Didn’t see that coming.

I wonder if we’ll hear anything about this in the mainstream media?

Kerry now says that he was taken out of context by Republican hacks. He goes on to say that the people that really need to apologize are Bush and his administration. Mr. Kerry, you should be ashamed of yourself.

Update: Kerry now says that it was a botched joke about President Bush and that he didn’t mean anything in relation to the actual troops. Yeah. Right.

Update: Kerry now says that he was supposed to say “…you get US stuck in Iraq” but accidentally left “us” out. Yeah. Right.

Update: Kerry now says…

Hanna-Barbara Streisand Hit at Concert

I just want to take a moment of my time to condemn concert-goers of Mrs. Streisand who decided to throw objects at her after she made fun of President Bush. While her remarks are [always] disgusting, physically harming someone for their views is unacceptable and despicable. These people in question should be ashamed of themselves.

The video:

George Bush needs to take a few lessons for Mrs. Cheney on how to talk to the media. This video further demonstrates the dishonesty of CNN and Wolf Shyster.

Especially watch for the dishonesty when Mrs. Cheney asks Mr. Shyster “what is CNN doing running terrorist’s tapes of terrorists shooting Americans.” He defends CNN’s dishonesty by being dishonest himself, saying “this is not terrorist propoganda.” Mrs. Cheney follows up by asking Mr. Shyster where CNN got the tape and Wolf changes the subject, dodging the question.

I can answer the question for Mr. Shyster; the video was obtained from terrorists in Iraq. A question Mr. Shyster should have easily been able to answer since Anderson Stooper blatantly says it at the beginning of the tape. However, CNN now says they don’t know where they got the tape or even if it is real. Wow?

The other good part of this video happens when Mrs. Cheney schools Mr. Shyster on the good points of the economy and he takes on the classic liberal “brooke trout” facial expression.

If you are curious as to what terrorist video they are talking about, you can view the video here:

Standard dishonesty, blatantly and brilliantly uncovered by Mrs. Cheney; something George Bush can’t seem to accomplish when he’s in front of the microphones. By the way, there is nothing newsworthy about this terrorist video, even though CNN uses that as a reason to display it. Funny how they complain about October being the worst month for troop casualties while at the same time airing terrorist propaganda films.

Actually, it’s not very funny at all CNN.

By the way, if you aren’t quite sure what insurgent means, it’s politically correct for “Islamic terrorist.”

I’ll try not to mention the fact that this story comes right off the heels of democrats trying to politically execute Mark Foley for his page “scandal” even though he never broke the law; but it directly relates to the new controversy surrounding democrat Jim Webb.

Mr. Webb has written a few books. Many of the books include sexually explicit material. I don’t particularly care what the man talks about in any of his writings, but I do care about two things.

1. Blatant liberal hypocrisy.

2. Blatant Dishonesty on the part of Jim Webb.

Jim Webb, who aligns with the so-called “sensitive and pro-diversity” democrats uses a surprising amount of racial slurs in his books, and even refers to Vietnamese women as “monkey-faced.” In 2002, in a book titled “Lost Soldiers,” Webb writes about a man embracing his four year old son and inserting his son’s penis in his mouth.

Webb claims that the release of the excerpts of his books is a smear campaign driven by Karl Rove. Well yes Mr. Webb, your party targeted Foley and tried to character assassinate him, which your party was successful at, even though Mr. Foley never broke any laws. When you smear, you should expect to be smeared.

Now, Mr. Webb, the question remains; why do you want Foley indicted when you write about far worse things than he has done? He had sex with a male page who was of legal age. You write about four year olds putting their penis in their dad’s mouth. And you feel this is simply a smear campaign? Mr. Webb, you’d be lucky if that’s all this is.

Mr. Webb goes on to say that the description of the act of the four year old and his father is “not a sexual act.” Apparently he’s been taking lessons from democratic hero Bill Clinton.

More political dishonesty from Mr. Webb…

Webb says Republicans don’t have a comment to make on the most important issue facing this country; “this country’s been breaking into pieces economically.” Apparently he hasn’t been watching the stock market lately. Apparently he hasn’t been watching job growth, home sales, or the unemployment rate. Apparently he hasn’t been properly educated in analyzing the economy.
And to say that our economy is the most important issue facing this country is quite laughable.

Not to mention his statement….
“Our government should no longer be in the hands of a group of unprincipled, small-minded, power-hungry character assassins.”

Hmm…this is exactly why I say NOT ONE liberal should have a job in Washington. Unprincipled. Small-minded. Power-hungry. Character-assassins. Those four descriptions are DEAD ON for a party who has spent the last 6 years lying, cheating, and attacking George Bush. This statement is just another example of Democrat’s selective memory and sheer mindlessness.

Please Mr. Webb, quit while you aren’t too far behind.

This video of Nancy Pelosy on the David Letterman Show is a prime example of how liberalism is a mental disorder. The first thing I want you to notice is that liberals VERY RARELY show up to debate with people who disagree with them. Instead, they prefer to circle jerk with their own supporters from the safety of shared beliefs.

I will break down the dishonesty in this video one by one.

1. Social Security

Mrs. Pelosi states that she would rather have President Bush “phase out our involvment in the Iraq war and leave Social Security alone.” With this statement she offers no explanation of why it would be beneficial to leave Iraq immediately, nor does she provide a description of any of the consequences of that action. She also fails to mention that our Social Security system is failing and will crumble under its own weight if a solution is not created. She also fails to mention that she was against privatization of the system, even though it was the most viable option for saving it.

2. “Stay the course is not a strategy, it’s a slogan.”

In fact, stay the course is a broad strategy. She apparently wants Bush to detail specific strategies, which are detailed by Donald Rumsfeld weekly; which she also scrutinizes and argues against. The only slogan here is the subliminal message “vote for me” which she would like to reach every audience member with. The only problem is that her message lacks a reason to vote for her, unless you feel that criticism and inaction is better than any action at all. In reality, her opinion on this issue is meaningless, it does nothing to further the cause or offer a solution. Mrs. Pelosi, please stop wasting our time.

3. We want to work with the president to take Iraq in a new direction.

Mrs. Pelosi only wants Iraq to go in one direction, downhill. If you notice, she uses the abused talking point-term “redeployment.” This word is used to spin a statement in the direction of “mass appeal.” Nobody wants to “withdraw” troops anymore because that sounds like we’re running away, retreating, and losing. Instead, we would like to “redeploy” our troops, which is exactly the same thing with a little sugar on top. In fact, if you are planning on bringing troops back to the United States, you cannot be “redeploying” them, you simply “withdraw” them. As long as the voters don’t figure this out it’s all fine though. Anyway, withdrawing troops from Iraq is to support civil war and massive civilian casualties. Why doesn’t anyone ask her if she supports causing the death of millions of innocent Iraqis? Why doesn’t anyone ask her why she is against using our military in Iraq to its full potential to make sure we get the job done quickly with minimal troop losses? Remember, Pelosi and her party wanted our troops on the ground rather than our planes in the air. And now they want to complain about troop losses? The real fact of the matter here is that Pelosi wants our troops “out of harms way” so we can finalize our loss in Iraq and the news can be added to all the Democrats’ campaign speeches in 2008. Please Mrs. Pelosi, stop using the troops in an attempt to magnify your political success.

4. It’s the wrong war.

She claims her party will protect our country when it is necessary. As I look back in history, specifically during the Clinton Administration, I don’t seem to get that same warm and fuzzy feeling of security she’s describing. Four terrorist attacks and zero responses.

5. This isn’t part of the war on terror.

In truth, you could throw a dart at a map of the middle east and if you attacked nearly any country it landed on you would be fighting the war on terror, with the exception of Israel. There is no intelligent or viable reason to regard Iraq as NOT being a part of the global war on terror.

6. This war doesn’t make our people safer.

This statement is pure opinion. Making this opinion at a time when the United States has not been attacked a second time since 2001, when previously it was attacked 4 times, is quite dishonest.

7. This war has increased terrorism.
Islamic terrorism has been around for thousands of years. George Bush did not single handedly increase terrorism by attacking Iraq, as Nancy Pelosi, and many other democrats would have you believe. If they thought the public might believe them, they’d probably even shoot for trying to make us believe that Bush actually created Islamic Terrorism, most likely to get rid of poor people.

8. The 9/11 commission is non-partisan and they gave the administration Ds and Fs.

If you believe the 9/11 commission is actually non-partisan, please review the tapes of the interviews and questions of our administration officials. When the commission wasn’t busy drowning us in their own liberal political viewpoints, they were heckling and badgering conservative officials. I know this commission was “supposed to be” non-partisan, but come on; non-partisan? More like non-sense.

9. We want to eaves drop, outside the law, on our citizens.

This is a direct and outright fabrication. The wire tapping policies in use are not used on our citizens in general. They are used SPECIFICALLY on people in the United States (not necessarily a citizen) who are making INTERNATIONAL calls to those on terrorist watch lists, or the other way around. The democrats would have you believe that the weekly call to your grandmother is being listened in on by the NSA. If you aren’t on a terrorist watch list, you’re fine. This statement by Pelosi disregards all facts and logic.

10. We aren’t safer five years later because…

She offers a lot of reasons why we aren’t safer, yet fails to leave out something. Let me rephrase her sentence and see if it still makes sense to you. “We aren’t safer five years later because we haven’t been attacked again.” – Does that make any sense to you? She can list and list and criticize and list, but she doesn’t have any explanation for why we haven’t been attacked again. Why would you pass up the main aspect of a discussion to describe all the little aspects? While we DO have many things that still need to be fixed, improved, and taken care of, bypassing the simple fact that we haven’t been attacked again while trying to make people believe we aren’t safer is dishonesty at its highest level.

Mrs. Pelosi. One show, 6.5 minutes, 10 reasons not to vote for you. Liberalism truly is a mental disorder. Oh, and by the way, she did offer one suggestion among her entire list of criticisms – diplomacy. Genius.

Hans Blix is a U.N. weapons inspector who was sent to Iraq to search for Saddam’s WMDs. After being paraded around by Saddam’s people, led like a leashed dog to the wrong buildings, denied entry to other places, and kicked out of the country all-together before finishing his search, declared the Saddam does NOT in fact, have WMDs, even though they have been found.

Anyway, Mr. Blix is now back in the news. He would like everyone to know that our war in Iraq is a failure and Iraqis would be better off under Saddam’s rule. Apparently being killed by Saddam’s terrorists is far better than being killed by Al-Qaeda’s terrorists. Mr. Blix has this opinion, and shares it with many liberals for two reasons, neither of which are because what he says is true.

1. Mr. Blix is trying to cover up his failed search.

2. Mr. Blix hates America.

To prove my point that Iraq is better off NOW than it was:

1. Improving Primary Health Care: USAID is helping strengthen essential primary health care services throughout Iraq.

In 2005 alone, USAID-supported emergency campaigns immunized 98 percent of Iraqi children between 1-5 years old (3.62 million) against measles, mumps, and rubella,

Also in 2005, USAID immunized 97 percent of Iraqi children under five (4.56 million) against polio.

In all, USAID partners have trained more than 2,500 primary health care workers to expand access to essential primary health care services.

2. Expanding Access to Electricity: In 2002, Baghdad had access to electricity 24 hours a day; the rest of Iraq was limited to 3-6 hours.

Currently, all 18 governorates receive nearly 14 hours of electricity daily, an incredible improvement for a country emerging from decades of conflict and little investment.

USAID efforts have added 1,400 megawatts (MW) of generating capacity to the national electrical grid, expanding access to 4.2 million Iraqis throughout most of Iraq.

3. Providing Potable Water: Many parts of Iraq had no access to or provision of clean potable water. Indeed many of Iraq’s waterways were contaminated with refuse and sewage.

Over 4 million Iraqis who had no clean drinking water in 2002 now have safe, potable water piped to their homes following USAID efforts to refurbish water treatment plants in 15 cities.

USAID is also providing plant-level operations and maintenance (O&M) training at major water and wastewater plants nationwide to ensure that these plants remain functioning.

4. Restoring Sewage Systems: Before 2003, Iraq’s cities suffered from inadequate sewage systems; backed up sewage created pools in neighborhoods or emptied directly into nearby rivers.

Today, USAID’s rehabilitated sewage treatment plants throughout Iraq process a total of 339.7 million gallons daily.

These plants alone provide 7.2 million urban Iraqis – over a quarter of the national population – access to functioning, waterborne sewage, greatly improving sanitation and contributing to a decrease in waterborne disease.

5. Improving Local Governance and Community Development: Iraqi democracy must prove itself through service delivery and community-based solutions to local problems.

With USAID assistance, representative provincial and municipal governments are more capable of delivering essential services to their constituents.

Countrywide, more than 670 community action groups focused on civic education, women’s advocacy, and anti-corruption have been supported by USAID.

Working through local NGOs, USAID has implemented 4,672 quick impact projects throughout Iraq, providing short-term employment and restoration of basic services.

6. Connecting Iraq to the Global Economy: The private sector is the engine for sustainable job creation and economic growth. To help guide policy reform, USAID’s Investor Roadmap analyzes constraints to investment.

Iraq’s Investment Promotion Agency was recently established with USAID assistance, and will serve as a resource to international investors.

USAID worked with the Ministry of Finance (MoF) to develop a Competitiveness Study, helping integrate efforts to create a robust private sector that fosters job creation.

USAID programs assist Iraq’s MoF, Central Organization for Statistics and Information Technology (COSIT), and Iraq’s Central Bank in meeting their International Monetary Fund (IMF) requirements. This $19 million technical assistance effort is expected to return to Iraq $480 million in the IMF Standby Agreement by December 2005 as well as debt forgiveness of $27 billion from the Paris Club by March 2006.

Working with the MoF, USAID introduced the new dinar currency to promote national unity and a sound functioning monetary policy. Currently, 4.62 trillon new Iraqi dinars are in circulation in Iraq.

7. Expanding Political Inclusion and Expression: USAID assistance has helped prepare Iraq for two national elections, numerous provincial and municipal elections, and the Constitutional Referendum of October 15.

In preparation for the January 2005 election, USAID helped the Independent Electoral Commission of Iraq (IECI) establish a voter registration system, and worked with the UN on improving balloting procedures.

USAID-supported NGOs distributed election materials, helped televise debates, and led over 22,000 town meetings to educate Iraqi voters.

USAID and a local NGO trained over 8,000 election monitors.

Current efforts are preparing 15,000 elections monitors for the December 15, 2005 elections.

8. Supporting the New Iraqi Constitution: The January 2005 Interim Government election put into place a National Assembly to frame a constitution emphasizing democracy and the rule of law.

USAID partners provided constitutional specialists to the Drafting Committee while input from over 111,000 national surveys kept the Committee in touch with national sentiment.

The Iraqi Women’s National Coalition, supported by USAID, developed a 10-point statement adopted in the constitution.

A USAID-supported NGO televised debates and distributed information. Nearly 9,500 monitors, trained by USAID partners, helped ensure a successful constitutional referendum.

9. Transforming Primary Education: USAID assistance has helped Iraq move away from rote learning methodology in decrepit, unsanitary classrooms to interactive learning in rehabilitated buildings.

Since 2003, USAID has rehabilitated nearly 3,000 schools.

Over 20 million new textbooks have been supplied by USAID (8.6 million) and UNESCO (12 million).

By 2006, more than 133,000 primary school teachers – a third of Iraq’s educators in all – will have received training and technical assistance.

Already, the most recent primary school enrollment numbers show a 19 percent increase from pre-war levels.

10. Restoring Excellence in Higher Education: The USAID Higher Education and Development (HEAD) Program brings together five American and 10 Iraqi universities to help reestablish academic excellence in Iraq’s higher education system.

Since January 2004, more than 1,500 Iraqi faculty and students have participated in workshops, trainings, conferences, and courses in Iraq, the Middle East, Europe, and the United States.

University facilities -libraries, computer and science laboratories, lecture halls, and buildings – have been rehabilitated at colleges throughout the country.

A mini-grant program supports new, innovative research throughout the country. In addition, books and electronic resources have been provided to university libraries.

Apparently none of this matters to Hans Blix. He would rather see Saddam back in one of his ultra-large palaces, standing on the back porch overlooking the slum villages of his oppressed people. Did I mention that Iraqis went to the voting polls in record numbers, and they weren’t forced to vote for a specific candidate under penalty of death?

Please Mr. Blix, stop lying to us.
